NATIONAL SERRO SCOTTY ORGANIZATION NEWS

Very sad news to report, fearless leaders Mabel and Molly Kroes crossed the Rainbow Bridge a day apart at the end of April. Mabel had been with the NSSO as a co-admin since its inception in 2004 and since she was only months old. She passed at 16 1/2 years. Molly had only been part of our NSSO family since October, 2018, but she loved helping Mabel with administrative details of running the NSSO and most of all, they both loved NSSO gatherings.

I said there would be no more dogs in my life but two weeks after the girls passed our local animal shelter featured this old boy Walter and I could not resist. Walter has shown great excitement in learning to carry on Mabel and Molly's NSSO duties. This is his first, but hopefully not last, NSSO Newsletter. Welcome Walter! We hope Covid-19 dies down in time for us to hold our scheduled September camp-out at Letchworth State Park. All other NSSO events for the year were canceled, sadly.
