About the National Serro Scotty Organization

The National Serro Scotty Organization (NSSO) formed in 2004. It is a strong network of vintage Scotty aficionados with hundreds of members in every state, except Hawaii, and in Canada, Denmark, and Germany. This organization is the premiere resource for anyone restoring and/or rebuilding their Serro Scotty or many other vintage trailers.

The goal of the NSSO is to share collected wisdom and to pool resources to help out fellow (John) Serro Scotty owners. John Serro Scottys were built from 1957 to 1997 when his plant burned down. We also welcome members who have Kerola Scottys (built from 2007 through 2012 with permission to use the Serro Scotty name) and other small vintage trailer owners. We are a versitile group of hobbyists who enjoy connecting with our fellow Scotty owners and we hold regional campouts throughout the United States each year, although mostly east of the Mississippi River.

We are honored to be credited in Doug Keister's book, "Teardrops and Tiny Trailers" as the reason vintage Serro Scotty trailers "continue to thrive and survive". (Buy Doug's book here). You can buy NSSO member Paul Hecht's book, Serro Scotty Travel Trailers here.

We want to be good neighbors, both in the campground and online in our for members only Facebook group. If you would like to become a member of this highly regarded organization, simply click the Join the NSSO link above and follow the instructions.
