About the National Serro Scotty Organization
This site began as personal Web pages of Nancy Kroes, a Serro Scotty owner since 2004. Nancy, a Webmaster at Western Michigan University, started the site as a way to keep resources easily accessible for herself. Not finding any other Web site specifically for Serro Scottys available, and finding the site very useful herself, she went public with it in 2004. The Web site now receives over 15,000 unique visitors a month, from every state in the US, and countries across the world!
The National Serro Scotty Organization (NSSO) was
formed in 2005. It is a strong network of vintage trailer aficionados
with hundreds of members in nearly every state and in Canada and
Germany. Regional campouts are planned and hosted by members and
their families throughout the United States, and a National Rally
is held each summer - where it all began, in Pennsylvania. This organization
very quickly became the premiere resource for anyone restoring and/or
rebuilding their Serro Scotty or other vintage trailer. We are a
versatile group of hobbyists who enjoy connecting with our fellow
owners and campers. In 2008, we were honored to be credited in Douglas
Keister's new book, "Teardrops and Tiny Trailers" as the
reason Serro Scotty trailers "continue to thrive and survive".

Our goal is to share collected wisdom, pool resources to help each other out, treat each other with dignity and respect, and to exist in peace and harmony. In other words, to be good neighbors, both in the campground and online. If you would like to become a member of this highly regarded organization, simply click the Members Only link to the left and follow the instructions!
