Furnace Vent Replacement

Many have opted to remove the furnace (which was an option) that came in their Scotty. I personally would do that as it is an old propane appliance and there are much better solutions with CO2 protection available today. Removing the furnace and its vent though, can leave you with a hole on the side of your Scotty. Here are some solutions to cover up the hole.

Jason Byler's solution
Jason Byler cut out the old vent slats and put plywood over the hole
inside the camper and covered the outside with a piece of white aluminum flashing that was cut to fit inside the "frame" left from the old vent. The outlet, from
Bontragers in White Pigeon, was then added.
