Mark & Kathy Bailey's Air Conditioning Solution
We decided to add an air conditioner using ideas from the Resources Web Site. The duct covers were purchased from Lowes, they are ceiling dryer duct covers. They do adjust for airflow. I slipped a piece of filter in the intake one.
The one on the left is outflow, the right is intake..I put an intake on it because I figured if the intake was outside in the atmosphere it would run constantly. Hope it works. It has in our backyard testing so far!.

The wood will have vinyl herculite wrapped around it for weather protection. and it also will be under the camper when we use it. The ducts will be much shorter, we were just giving it a test run!

Under where the ducts "plug" in.

This shows the switches under the little door. I made a plenum for the top to seal the cold air into the duct and away from the additional plenum for the intake ductwork. I made the intake one quite easily, I took the filter off the front and made a template of fiberglass panel to fit where the filter went, cut a 4" hole in the middle and fit it back into the filter holds. The filter is now in the intake grill inside the Scotty. This particular AC blows from the top. the plenum for the top was a little harder to construct, I just kept fitting my fiberglass panels to seal it around the "blowhholes"and put foam under to seal it inside and cut another 4" hole to put the duct in. The duct is simply household dryer hose. 5000 btu a/c from Lowes: $80.00
