Nancy Kroes' 1961 13' Front Kitchen Teardown (Scotty 5)
This is Scotty 5, a 1961 13' Front Kitchen Scotty that I found on Ebay and bought for parts to fix my other two 1961 Front Kitchen Scottys. The good thing is she was only 40 miles away and, as you'll see by her pictures, I'll have no regrets in tearing her down for her pieces and parts.
She doesn't look too bad from the outside - appearances can be deceiving!
Skin is decent and much will go to replace the shotgunned skin on Scotty 4
The frame is actually broken and being propped up by use of a galvanized pipe!
Good thing we only have to go 40 miles!
A previous owner jacked her frame way up to go into Canada's backwoods.
This is what's left of her dropdown.
As you see, not worth fixing, but she will live on in Scotty 3 and Scotty 4!
