Hugh Robie's 1969 Spotty Sportster

The title shows 1969 Spotty. The serial shown is listed as T135118769. This number is stamped on the hitch post plate welded to the tongue, not on the front frame member. There are windows on each side of the door, however there is an oblong window above the rear larger window. On the inside there is a bunk bed above the pull out couch, the smaller window light that area on both sides. The rear window was replaced after a bb attack and the front window is altered for an air conditioner. The wheel wells are the Scotty tear drop. There is a badly faded decal above the front window with what looks like the rear of a small dog and tail but it is reversed. It is looking to the left, the ones I've seen are looking to the right. The rear lights have been replaced and the License plate mounted on the left side. The inside lay out is simulair to pictures I've seen with no Scotty identification. There are no ID lights on the top front and rear as I've seen. It has 14" wheels and the hitch is not like some that I have seen and is 2".

Update from NSSO Admin: In mid-2008, we discovered this trailer is, in fact, a Spotty Sportster. The logo was a Dalmation dog, hence the name "Spotty". It may have been manufactured in Oberlin, KS, let Hugh know.
