Canning Creek Campground, Council Grove, KS June 3-6, 2010

Mabel will be headed west to the beautiful Canning Creek Campground. We hope you can come camp Kansas with Mabel! (Note this is NOT Bob Clark's Kamp Kansas event)

We'll hold a wine and appetizer party on Friday night - bring a local, or your favorite wine and/or some kind of appetizer - cheese/crackers, spreads, etc. Saturday afternoon will be a tour of trailers and the official photoshoot for the slideshow, to be published afterwards. We'll also hold a potluck dinner on Saturday evening - bring a prize for the prize table and we'll draw names and choose a prize after we eat. We won't be holding cook-offs for Ovenette and Dutch Oven, but if you want to prepare your entry for the potluck either of those ways, that would be great! I'm sure Mabel will be preparing our entry in her Ovenette! Mabel and I will have to head out in the wee hours on Sunday morning, but those who have to leave so early and who want to, can do a group/community breakfast on Sunday before they head out.
