Fort Custer Recreation Area Campout, Augusta, MI 8/10-12/07

This is a great location, in southern mid-Michigan, easy access to folks from IN, OH, and PA as it is just off I-94. Lots to do around this central location. There is the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, a one of a kind attraction, as well as the Gilmore Car Museum, if looking at cool old cars is your thing. For beach lovers, less than an hour and a half from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan! And, this location is about 15 miles from Nancy and Mabel's house - tours of the Bogwalk can be arranged.

If you are thinking about coming, you do need to register soon - the park tells me that they fill up completely every weekend in July and August. Mabel and I are thinking sites 1-17 look good as they are near to the bathrooms, important with bathroomless Scottys.
